PURPOSE:To reduce a time parallax by setting a first maximum number of light emitting times with respect to the central light emission element, and a second maximum number of the light emitting times less than the first one, with respect to one and the other light emission elements. CONSTITUTION:When a distance up to an object is far and respective light emission elements 3 - 5 are pulse-driven up to the maximum number of the light emitting times, the number of the light emitting times of the central light emission element 3 reaches the first maximum number of the light emitting times by a first range-finding means, so that the pulse drive of the central light emission element 3 is stopped. On the other hand, the number of the light emitting times of the light emission elements 4 and 5 of one and the other sides reaches the second maximum number of the light emitting times set less than the first maximum number of the light emitting times by second/third range finding means, the pulse driving of the light emission elements 4 and 5 of one and the other sides is stopped. Thus, a range-finding time can be shortened, and the time parallax till photographing is carried out after a releasing switch is operated, can be reduced. |
