Non-aqs dispersions for heat-hardening films - from reactive ethyleni monomers and an alkylated amine resin

Heat-hardening film-forming mass comprises a non-aq. dispersion contg. a copolymer with functional gps. derived from >=2 reactive ethylenic monomers which have been copolymerised in presence of an alkylated amine resin with a high white spirits tolerance in a non-aq. dispersion medium. The monomers are free from functional hydroxyl gps. and one of them has a functional epoxy gp. A metal-contg. catalyst is present. Product may be applied to substrates (e.g. a car body) in relatively thin layers to give glossy, durable, protective hardenable coatings.
