Pitch epoxy coated roadway - with intermediate bonding layer on bituminous concrete

Roadway consisting of a sealing layer of >=1 layer of pitch epoxy on a layer of bituminous concrete, with between the two a bonding layer of a product compatible with the pitch epoxy and the bituminous concrete, and having a slight solvent tendency for the polymerised pitch epoxy and being slightly soluble in hot bituminous concrete. The intermediate layer gives improved bonding between the pitch epoxy and bituminous concrete layers.
