<p>A false twisting head comprises a rotating drive shaft driving a thread engagement device. This shaft is in driving contact with a movable belt. The head can be moved between a first position, in which the shaft is on one side of the belt path, and a second position, in which the shaft is on the other side. Provision is made for selectively urging the head towards the one or other of these outlet positions where the shaft can be urged into contact with one or the other sides of the belt.</p> |
