<p>PURPOSE:To speedily use a refuge device in emergency without deteriorating the appearance of a balcony by accommodating an extension part which is advanced by the dead weight and reaches the under-floor, inside the erection wall of the balcony which turning-shifts outward through the turn around a horizontal shaft. CONSTITUTION:At first, the upper edge part of the stay 5a of an operation part 5 which is embedded through bending is pulled up in the direction of arrow (1) at the upper edge surface of a balcony 2, and then turned in the direction of arrow (2), and erected, and then a handle 5b which is folded in the stay 5a is spread in the direction of arrow (3). The engagement state with the engagement hole 3a of a latch 5d which engages an erection wall 3 by the urging force of a compression spring 5c is released by pulling out the handle 5b in the direction of arrow (4) by both hands, and the erection wall 3 is turning-shifted to advance an extension part 4, and each step arm 7 is turning-advanced, and a refuge device 1 is arranged for the use in emergency. Accordingly, the need of an accommodation place for the refuge device 1 on the floor surface of the balcony 2 is obviated, and the balcony 2 can effectively be utilized, and the outside appearance of the balcony 2 is prevented from being deteriorated, and the refuge device 1 can be used speedily in emergency.</p> |
