PURPOSE:To utilize a target function without reading an operation manual appended to an equipment by outputting the outline of the operation manual stored in an outline storage means to a communication terminal when the communication terminal calls a termination address dedicated to an operation manual outline request. CONSTITUTION:A system control panel 2 prepares and sends the outline of the operation manual. Namely, at least one of communication process parts FCU1 - FCUn has its dial-in number or subaddress set exclusively for the operation manual outline process and when the dial-in number or subaddress of the communication process part set exclusively for the operation manual outline process, a facsimile equipment 1 generates and sends the outline of the operation manual to communication terminals TN1 - TNn. Consequently, the outline of the operation manual can be obtained only by sending the outline request for the operation manual from the communication terminal to the specific incoming address or subaddress. |
