PURPOSE:To simplify structure, reduce lower weight, and improve degree of alignment change setting freedom by supporting a wheel support member on one slide ball which is fixed on a car body and extends in the up and down direction in such a way that it can slide up and down freely. CONSTITUTION:A bearing housing section 3 which is formed in circular shape is provided on the inner side in the direction of car width of a knuckle 1 which supports a wheel 2 rotatably, and a bearing 4 is housed in its inside. On the other hand, a slide ball 5 is arranged in the up and down direction, and its upper end is fixed on a car body and its lower end is fixed on the outer end of a ball support member 7. Also, the outer end of a tie rod 12 is connected to the foremost and of a knuckle arm 10 via a ball joint 11, and the other end of the tie rod 12 is connected to a steering device which is not illustrated. Further, the lower end of two front and rear shock absorbers 13, 14 is mounted on the knuckle 1 with the bearing housing section 3 between them. A suspension spring 15 is arranged on the front shock absorber 13 on the same axis. |
