PURPOSE:To obtain magnetic composition for microwave and millimeter wave in which values of large residual magnetic flux density and small tandelta are simultaneously realized by incorporating a composition expressed by (Y1--xGdx)w(Fe1-y-zAlyMnz)8--wO12 where x, y, z, and w are in specified ranges as a principal ingredient and Sb2O3 of a value of mol% in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:This magnetic composition for microwave and millimeter wave contains a composition expressed by (Y1-xGdx)w(Fe1-y-zAlyMnz)8--wO12 where x, y, z and w of are 0<=x<=0.35, 0<=y<=0.16, 0.01<=z<=0.04, 3.02<=w<=3.06 as main ingredients, and antimony oxide Sb2O3 of 0.2mol% to 1.0mol%. By using this composition, saturated magnetism 4piMs can be arbitrarily set to a range of 340-1760 gausses, and hence a material having the optimum value of 4piMs can be selected. Since its temperature coefficient alpha can be arbitrarily set in a range of -930 to -2770ppm/ deg.C, temperature characteristic of a magnet can be compensated when it is used in combination with permanent, etc. |
