PURPOSE:To obviate such waste as many mail boxes of various formats are provided by executing a communication through the medium of an only mail box such as an intermediate format mail box. CONSTITUTION:A terminal user 1-1 instructs to transmit a mail by using an application program 3-1. As a result, transmitting information becomes a format of a mail and is registered in a mail box 4-1, and a mail format converting means 8 is actuated. The converting means 8 converts the mail format to an intermediate format, while referring to a mail format definition 7 and registers it in an intermediate format mail box 9. At the time of this registrations the intermediate format mail is distributed to every receiver. In such a way, it is unnecessary to save the mail of the mail box 4-1 since it is registered in the intermediate format mail box 9. |
