PURPOSE: To reduce a cost by constituting a printing roll by a cylinder, inner and outer diameter clampers and shaft of specific structures, thereby facilitating disassembling and assembling, and commonly using except the cylinder. CONSTITUTION: The printing roll comprises a cylinder 1 formed with an outer surface 1a and a surface 1b to be chucked of both end inner surfaces concentrically formed, a pair of inner and outer clampers 2 and a shaft 3A engaged with a part 32 to be chucked of a shaft base end in a bore of the clampers 2. The clampers 2 each has a housing 21 having an annular cylinder chamber 21a of a substantially isosceles trapezoidal shape in an axial section at its side, a clamping side high pressure fluid introducing port 21c communicating with a side space side of the cylinder chamber and a releasing side high pressure fluid introducing port 21d communicating with a narrow space side of the chamber 21a opened at the outer end face 21b, and an annular piston 22 for containing outer and inner peripheries to be brought into close contact with a narrow space side of the chamber 21a at the time of chucking in an axial section of a substantially isosceles trapezoidal shape. |
