<p>Plastering and structural gypsum is prepd. by grinding of the gypsum to a terminal extreme particle fineness, when it is converted into a lower hydrated state in a continuously operated closed heat exchanger, following which in the same heat exchanger terminal particle fine ground raw gypsum is added to it and mixed with it causing spontaneous direct heat exchange between the two. The heating is carried out in a closed horizontal revolving shaft kiln. The process removed the need for additional grinding and further heat treatment after mixing.</p> |
