<p>On a lattice is formed a face location where the working yarn all has the same height but is of at least 2 different types, of which at least one can vary in length when heated. The fabric is then heat-treated. Preferably the yarn which shortens on heat treatment is of heat-shrinkable material, or is pretreated, to contract on heat treatment; it is e.g. of high bulk acrylic fibre.</p> |
