PURPOSE:To operate an infrared remote controller without causing erroneous operation even at a installation location with special conditions such as a place where an inverter illumination device or the like is installed by providing direction selectivity for the light transmission amount of a filter provided on the front surface of the light receiving surface of an infrared ray receiver. CONSTITUTION:A air cleaner main unit 1 is provided with an infrared ray receiver 4 with a light receiving part 3 of an infrared ray signal directed toward a pannel 2 in the back direction of the panel 2 on the main unit front surface. The front surface of the panel 2 is further provided with a filter 6 formed with a colored transparent resin fixed to the panel 2. The filter 6 is formed with several layers by alternatively laminating a layer with low transmittence for the infrared ray which is inclinated toward the horizontal direction and a layer reflecting or absorbing the infrared ray, and the filter is constructed so as to have low transmittence for the light from upper forward direction and high transmittence for the light from lower forward direction. Although the light transmision amount is reduced for the light from upper forward direction, that is, the light from an illumination device 7, the light transmission amount is not reduced for the light from an infrared ray transmitter, which is incident to the filter 6 from the lover forward direction. |
