PURPOSE:To decrease raw material cost by polymerizing and crosslinking a mono-acryloyl monomer in a mixed soln. of the mono-acryloyl monomer, a crosslinking agent, a polyhydric alcohol and an aq. soln. of an electrolyte by means of UV irradiation. CONSTITUTION:A mono-acryloyl monomer, 2-hydroxyethyl acrylate, PEG #400 diacrylate, a radical polymerization initiator, 'IRGACURE(R) #500, polyethylene glycol #400 and Nacl are mixed at a specified ratio. Then, 'Teflon(R)Sb-made molds hollowed out with a size of a square of 40mmX40mm and a depth of 5mm are prepd. and 5g each of these mixed soln. of raw materials are put therein. Then, these are polymerized and crosslinked by irradiating them with UV rays of 365 nm with a UV rays intensity of about 6mW/cm2 to obtain gels for bio-electrode pads. |
