PURPOSE:To make evaporative fuel to improvement in engine power by installing a purge controller which feeds the inside of an intake passage with this evaporative fuel only at a time when engine load is larger than the setting load. CONSTITUTION:When engine load is smaller than the predetermined setting load, an air-fuel mixture is formed in a limited range in a combustion chamber, while other, ranges are limited to air alone, igniting the mixture with a spark plug. In addition, when the engine load is alrger than the setting load, the whole combustion chamber is made so as to be filled up with the mixture. Here, there is provided a purge controller 12 which controls a supply of evaporative fuel into an intake duct 4. Only at a time when the engine load is larger than the setting load, the evaporative fuel is fed to the inside of the intake duct 4. With this constitution, since the evaporative fuel is ignitable in the combustion chamber, the evaporative fuel is thud conducible 6o improvement in engine power. |
