1528312 Determination of human thyrotropic hormone MALLINCKRODT Inc 2 May 1977 [3 May 1976] 18294/77 Heading G1B In radio immuno assay of human thyrotropic hormone there is used a standard aqueous system comprising between 8 and 420 pz/ml radioactively labelled human thyrotropic hormone, a standard known quantity of unlabelled human thyrotropic hormone, between 1À6 and 4À2 ppm of the aqueous system of a primary antiserum for the hormone, between 0À017% and 1À7% by volume of normal serum of the same species as that from which the primary antiserum is taken, a buffer, a stabilizing protein which is serum albumin or ovalbumin and a mammalian famina globulin in proportion to stimulate in the standard the effect of non-specific protein interference in the corresponding test system, the complex formed in carrying out the test between the thyrotropic hormone and the primary antibody being precipitated by a secondary antibody. |
