PURPOSE:To steplessly change the charged voltage of a discharge capacitor, by altering the reference voltage of a comparator. CONSTITUTION:Under an initial condition, the potential of a discharge capacitor C0 is almost zero and a capacitor C2 for auxiliary power is charged to the desired charged voltage l3 of the discharge capacitor C0. When charging operation is effected under side condition, the discharge capacitor C0 is charged from the side of a smoothing capacitor C1 until the charged voltage reaches l1. When the charged voltage of the discharge capacitor C0 exceeds l2, a transistor Q2 is turned on so that the discharge capacitor C0 is charged by the capacitor C2 for auxiliary power. Consequently, the discharge capacitor C0 is charged to a desired charged potential l3. According to this constitution, the charged voltage of the discharge capacitor C0 can be accurately and economically changed only by altering the reference voltage of a comparator CMP3. |
