PURPOSE:To restore the latest information even though a user deletes a file by mistake by providing a back-up file device and registering previously a restorable file. CONSTITUTION:An electronic computer 1 is provided together with an input device 2 including a display, a keyboard, etc., a back-up file device 3, and a normal file device 4. The computer 1 includes a restorable file register means 11, a file copy means 12, a restored information input means 13, and a restoring means 14. A user registers the name of a desired file to be restored into the means 11 so as to back up the desired file. Thus the relevant copy files are stored every time the relevant file is updated. Therefore these copy files are used for restoration of files when an original file is lost. Thus only the necessary files can be backed up. |
