<p>PURPOSE:To determine the optimum working method for a whole working area by selecting the optimum combination of working areas according to a parameter set in advance and determining a combined working area. CONSTITUTION:The numerical control information preparation device is provided with a generation means 21 to generate the working area from the shapes before and after working decision means 22 and 24 to decide, among the graphic elements to constitute the generated working area, a graphic element whose angle with axis Z is above a value set in advance. The device is also provided with a division means 23 and 25 to divide the working area with a straight line which passes through the start point of the decided graphic element and is parallel to the axis Z and a straight line which passes through the end point of the decided graphic element and is parallel to the axis Z. It is also provided with a coupling means 26 to combine the divided working areas according to a parameter set in advance. A working method for the combined working area is then determined. Namely, when the combined working area is going to be constituted by combining the divided working areas, the combined working area is determined by selecting the optimum combination of the working areas according to the parameter set in advance. Thus, it is made possible to determine the optimum working method for the combined working area.</p> |
