PURPOSE:To improve finishing, by stretching a roller attached arm out in a tube inside and making up a grinding wheel in structure so as to cause its cutting point to be closely pressed to the internal surface of the tube at the opposite side, while keeping wheel's thrust force constant at all times even if the tube rolls itself from side to side during rotation. CONSTITUTION:A grinding wheel 2 is secured tight to the nose of a drive shaft 1 and a supporting pipe 3 is fitted outside the wheel. At the peripheral part of the pipe 3 nose, a cylinder body 4 and collars 5 and 6 are fitted firmly and an arm 7 is pivotedly attached to a bracket 8, which is fixed fast to the nose of the cylinder body 4, via a pin 9. At the inside of a concave part 10, a roller 12 is rotatably fitted on bearings and rotates in contact with the internal surface of a work tube M. The arm 7 and a pivotedly attached piece 14 of a slide ring 13, which is fitted with some play to the cylinder body 4, are connected with each other via a connecting rod 15 whereby the arm 7 is seesawed with slide motion of the ring 13. With this vertical movement, when the roller 12 is pressed to the internal surface of the tube M, the wheel 2 is forcibly pressed to the internal surface of the tube M by the reaction force. |
