发明名称 MAGNETIC THERMAL RECORDING MEDIUM
摘要 PURPOSE:To well conceal a magnetic recording layer, to enhance the recognition properties of the recording on a thermal recording layer and to also enhance printability by enhancing the resolving power of the thermal recording layer by laminating a concealing layer on the magnetic recording layer provided on the single surface of a base material and providing the thermal recording layer on the concealing layer through a primer layer containing titanium dioxide and further providing a protective layer on the thermal recording layer. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic thermal recording medium 1 is constituted of a base material 2, the magnetic recording layer 3 provided to the single surface of the base material 2, the concealing layer 4 provided on the magnetic recording layer 3, the thermal recording layer 6 laminated to the concealing layer 4 through a primer layer 5 and the protective layer 7 laminated to the thermal recording layer 6. The primer layer 5 provided between the concealing layer 4 and the thermal recording layer 6 contains titanium dioxide. Since titanium dioxide is extremely fine as compared with the aluminum powder contained in the concealing layer 4, the recessed parts of the surface of the concealing layer 4 are filled with titanium dioxide and the surface of the primer layer 5 becomes smooth. Therefore, in the recording of the thermal recording layer due to a thermal head, the distance between the thermal head and the thermal recording layer is not changed and resolving power is enhanced and the concealability of the magnetic recording layer is enhanced and the recognition properties of the recording on the thermal recording layer are enhanced.
