PURPOSE:A hair cosmetic containing a pyrithione-based compound and a 1- hydroxy-2-pyridone-based compound, showing synergistic effects, having extremely raised effect on prevention of dandruff. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic containing (A) a compound such as zinc py rithione shown by the formula I (M is Na, Mg, or Zn; n is number corresponding to valence of M) or 2,2'-dithio-bis(pyridine-N-oxide) shown by the formula II, and (B) a compound shown by the formula III (R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, benzhydryl, phenylsulfonylalkyl, etc.; R2 is H, alkyl, phenyl, etc.). The blending ratio of both the compounds (A:B) is preferably (9:1)-(1:9) by weight, and the total amounts of both compounds in a cosmetic are 0.05-5wt%, preferably 0.1-3wt%. |
