CONSTITUTION:The traveling direction of a belt 5 is determined by a sensing means 16. Information about this traveling direction is stored in a memory means 20 together with the information about parallelisim of a drive roller 11 with follower roller 13 at this time. The drive of a cam motor 15 is controlled on the basis of the traveling direction information stored in the memory means 20 to alter the stopping position of an eccentric cam 14, and the parallelism of the drive roller 11 with follower roller 13 is varied little by little. Thereby the belt meandering speed can be minimized, and correction of belt meander be made.
