Weaving loom is provided with a projectile inserting the weft yarn and the projectile is guided along a number of guide elements one of which is provided with a transducer which generates electric signals in dependence on the movement of the projectile. Transducer indicates the synchronous disposition of the projectile with the angular displacement of the loom main drive shaft. Transducer is located closely w.r.t. the projectile path.
