发明名称 METHOD FOR MONITORING TOXIC SUBSTANCE UNDER WATER
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a toxic substance under water to be detected by detecting a potential which is generated by an activity of a living organism under water. CONSTITUTION:A living organism sensitively reacts with entering of a toxic substance physiologically and ecologically. It goes through 'frenzy' to 'perishing' as a result of the reaction, namely a potential which is generated under water due to move of the living organism under water 'is extinct' through 'rapid increase'. When monitoring entering of the toxic substance into water, water quality can be monitored by using two criteria, namely 'An amount of activity exceeds an upper limit of the amount of activity at normal time' and 'An amount of activity reaches 0'. Namely, the potential can be detected as follows. The potential is detected by sensor electrodes 2 and 3 which area dipped at both edges of a water bath 1, it is amplified by an amplifier 4, and only frequency components from 0.2 to 2Hz caused by move of the living organism under water are screened by a filter 5 as an activity potential.
