This improvement aims in particular to improve the torque capability of the joint, for a given diameter of the latter. For this reason, each journal 244 is mounted so as to pivot on its support about an articulation pin 248 radially offset towards the outside with respect to the centre of the associated roller 243. Each journal 244 is hollow and receives one branch of a spider 247. As in the main patent, the journals comprise engaging teeth 255 which conjugate the pivoting of these journals when the joint is at an angle. <IMAGE>
