The invention relates to a cell construction for wheeled vehicles and especially intended for transport on main roads, comprising a floating framework, made up of horizontal and perpendicular main beams 3-6, and thereby supported doors 2. To allow the doors 2 of the cell construction 1 to be opened and closed even though the construction 1 would be severely contorted or bent and the wear to the hinges and the locking members would be very slight, it is specific to the construction that one of the main beams 3 of the framework, constituting the so- called reference beam 3 of the cell construction 1, forms with perpendicular casing beams 7,8,9 and a horizontal casing beam 10 an essentially rigid casing construction in which the doors 2 are fixed, and that the rigid casing construction is arranged to be supported by the floating framework such that it is displaceable in the plane of the framework.
