PURPOSE:To reduce the number of synchronizers as well as to miniaturize a transmission as a whole by setting up a brake and a synchronous clutch concentrically on a clutch shaft in a separate manner, and synchronizing each rotation speed of both driving and driven sides of a mechanical clutch at each shift step by means of fitting between the brake and the synchronous clutch. CONSTITUTION:Mechanical clutches 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 plus R are attached to each of first-fifth shift speed gears 9, 11-14 and a reversing gear 10, sliding a fork in the axial direction, and each internal spline of sleeves 221, 222 and 223 is engaged with outer splines 211, 222 and 223 of a clutchshaft 8 as well as external splines 9', 11', 12', 13' and 14' and 10' of these 1st to 5th shift speed gears 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14 as well as the reversing gear 10, thereby selecting each of gear speeds. There are provided a synchronous clutch C2 connecting the 1st speed gear 9 and the clutch shaft 8 adjustably for a degree of connection and a brake B connecting a casing of a transmission 43 and the clutch shaft 8 adjustably for a degree of connection, through which both driving and driven sides are synchronized at time of shifting. |
