PURPOSE:To prevent burnout of a motor by giving the motor a reversing command or a stop command in response to an excessive current flowing through the motor. CONSTITUTION:Eventual overcurrent flowing in a motor 1 is sensed, followed by judgement if it is rush current at the time of motor starting, one-way rotational restrictive current of the motor, or two-way rotational restrictive current. When snow fallen on a wiper blade 3 causes restriction of intended motion, the wiper blade 3 is reversed to continue wiping. In case the wiper blade 3 is locked entirely, or in case out of motion at all at the time of starting, a stop command is given to the motor 1. |
