PURPOSE:To reduce the size by constructing a stopper device with a stopper placed at a predetermined height between inner and outer tubes at the outside of a liquid chamber. CONSTITUTION:An outer tube 2 is secured to a securing member while an inner tube 1 is fixed with a member to be supported (vibration member) thus supporting the member to be supported resiliently. Since liquid chambers 5 are communicated through a communication path 9, liquid 4 moves and vibration is damped through the flow resistance thereof. A movable valve 11 provided with the communication mechanism 9 has the shape as shown on the drawing, where dynamic spring constant is lowered for faint vibration to improve vibration absorbing performance and exhibit high damping performance for relatively strong vibration. When some impact is applied onto a member to be supported and the inner tube 1 displaces excessively, it may collide against the outer tube 2 with considerable impact to cause breakdown. In order to prevent breakdown, a stopper device 14 is constructed with a stopper 15 placed between the inner and outer tubes 1, 2 upto a predetermined height, and the stopper device 14 is arranged at the outside of the liquid chamber 5. By such arrangement, the volume of the liquid chamber 5 is ensured sufficiently and the damping performance is not damaged. In other words, the size of a liquid sealed resilient bush can be reduced. |
