PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily form a superconducting coil that has a quality good enough for a practical use by a method wherein a superconducting ring, a part of which complying a radial current-interrupting section is laminated and a part of the contacted part of the adjacent ring is connected. CONSTITUTION:Superconducting rings 1a-1d, on which current interrupting parts 4a and 4d are provided at a part, are stacked by shifting the current interrupting parts 4a-4d, and a part of the contact parts 3a-3d of said stacked rings is electrically connected. Accordingly, the coils in the prescribed length can be formed by connecting them in series without deformation of the ring on which a superconducting treatment is conducted. As a result, it is unnecessary to add a deformation work when the superconducting material is used by conducting a heat treatment, and the efficiency when the rings are manufactured can be maintained in the state as it is. Also, as the current can be interrupted by providing a slit and the slit is buried with an insulating material if necessary, the coils have an excellent stability of superconductivity. |
