PURPOSE:To obtain the title yarn useful for heat-resistant cloth, filter bag, heat insulating cloth, carrier for catalyst and packing material, having excellent heat resistance and heat insulating properties, by making a bundled material consisting of specific inorganic fibers such as silica fibers and glass fibers bulky. CONSTITUTION:A bundle material consisting of (A) inorganic fibers selected from the group consisting of silica fibers, alumina fibers, zirconia fibers and titania fibers and (B) one or more fibers selected from the group consisting of glass fibers, organic fibers, metallic fibers and carbon fibers is made bulky to give the aimed yarn. |
