<p>PURPOSE:To improve smoothness of rotation of a carrier roller, reduce wear, and improve maintenance efficiency in the sheet carrier device of an image forming device by installing an electret which has an opposite polarity electrically to sheet power, at a sheet carrier passage constituting member. CONSTITUTION:The layer of an electret E which has an opposite polarity electrically to sheet powder D is formed around the peripheral surface of a carrier roller 5 on the upper side. The electret E is formed with a high polymer material which can maintain an electric polarization condition semipermanently with high voltage. With this constitution, the sheet powder D is attracted to the electret as static electricity, and collected to the upper carrier roller 5. The sheet powder D adhering to the electret E is wiped off by pressing a sponge 7 installed on an upper guide plate 3 against it.</p> |
