PURPOSE:To enable automatic reproduction of an illumination state which reflects user's preference or mood by storing and learning the illumination state set by an input together with a surrounding environment and/or user's activity state. CONSTITUTION:A controller 12 provides one knob of a fluorescent lamp 101 and one knob of a lamp 102 for modulating light, respectively, and when a user likes, for example, a refreshing light presenting feeling of transparency, the brightness of the fluorescent lamp is enhanced; and when a user likes a light presenting warmth, the brightness of the lamp is increased; and such adjustment of the illumination state is performed depending on a mood, thus a user- specific periodic pattern can be observed concerning the above mentioned setting of the illumination state. Therefore, a learning circuit 13 stores the set values of the controller 12 and the time interval for setting those values, sequentially, into a memory region provided in the learning circuit, and estimates a preset period from the above stored values so that illumination appliances may be controlled by means of the above mentioned estimated value in the case when no command is given from the controller. Consequently, the illumination state can be automatically varied so that user's preference may be reflected. |
