<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of operation for setting time for starting and ending recording, etc., and to make a desired program recordable without trouble even when a broadcasting time is altered by detecting a title picture of the program and controlling the recording. CONSTITUTION:The subject device is constituted in such a way that information relative to the title picture of the desired program is stored in a title picture storage means 45, and a video signal under receiving or reproducing and the storage contents are compared to generate a title picture detected output by a title picture detecting means 50, and based on this detected output, a program recording control means 66 is operated to record this program. By this method, the desired program can be recorded without setting its time for starting and ending the recording, thus coping with an alternation of the broadcasting time as well.</p> |
