<p>The element to be indexed (4) is driven by a rotary oscillating sleeve (7) via a sliding sleeve (9) carrying longitudinal rods (10) which run right through it and are driven therein. These rods (10) are permanently engaged in blind holes (11) of the element to be indexed (4) and engage, when the sliding sleeve (9) is displaced towards the driving sleeve (7), in holes (12) in the latter. The sliding sleeve (9) is controlled in its longitudinal displacements by an annular piece (13) articulated eccentrically about an axis perpendicular to the axis (15) of the mechanism. This control piece (13) has catches (13a) by means of which it interacts with an edge toothing (4a) which the element to be indexed (4) possesses. The latter is thus at all times subjected to the action either of the catches (13a) interacting with its edge toothing, or of the rods (10) engaged in the driving sleeve (7), which prevents any risk of it rotating inadvertently. <IMAGE></p> |
