An intraocular lens (10) for implantation in the eye comprises an ovoid lens having upper and lower haptics (11) integral therewith. The haptics are of substantially equal stiffness, and extend at an angle of from 0 DEG to 15 DEG as measured from the perpendicular to the optical axis of the lens, but do not extend beyond the shortest dimension of the lens optic. |
