<p>The invention is based on the fact that raw phenol ammonia water free of tar, from which free ammonia is stripped, is cooled, diluted with water, enriched with phosphorus and fed into the activation zone with biological sludge activated by heterotrophic phenol active bacteria and autotrophic nitrification bacteria in the presence of oxygen air; the cleaned water with propagated biological sludge is, after sedimentation, both released or re-circulated to the either the activation zone or to the denitrification space. The space of the activation zone is, after processing the biological sludge, operated as low-load activation and with a high content of sludge dry matter in a range up to 0.27 g of biochemical consumption of oxygen for 5 days per gram of dry matter, optimally around 0.17 g BSK5/g dry matter.<IMAGE></p> |
