PURPOSE: To obtain a composition, comprising thiodicarb and phenylpyrazole, an insecticide and a diluent or a carrier and useful for agriculture, forestry, animal sanitation, public satination and stored products, protecting building wood and especially suppressing insects. CONSTITUTION: This composition for arthropods comprises 5-amino-3-cyano-1-(2,6- dichloro-4-trifluoromethylphenyl)-4-trifluormethylsulfinylpyrazole and dimethyl N,N'-thiobis[methylimino]carbonyloxy]bisethaneimidothioate at (1:10) to (2:1) weight ratio and further other insecticides and a diluent or a carrier. Synergistic or potentiating effects are present between the two ingredients and the composition is more effective than the case of single use of the respective ingredients. Thereby, effective suppression of insects can be maintained even when the amount of either one or both of the ingredients is reduced. |
