发明名称 Fabrication of a superconducting NMR magnet using a refractory removable coil form
摘要 A superconducting coil, using e.g. NbSn, is fabricated by first winding an unreacted wire onto a temporary coil form (Fig. 2) made of refractory materials then reacting the wire at high temperatures to form a superconducting coil. The temporary coil form is disassembled and the superconducting coil 10 transferred to a permanent coil form (Fig. 3) made of a non-magnetic material. The temporary coil form 20 includes a stainless steel bore tube 21 and end flange 22 and a terminal flange 25 made of a non-magnetic refractory material such as titanium alloy. The terminal flange 25 is removably secured to the bore tube 21 and is transferred with the coil 10 to the permanent coil form. <IMAGE>
