PURPOSE:To surely read the registration correction pattern of color developer which cannot be detected because of a spectroscopic characteristic by executing the color spreading transfer of a registration correction pattern area by the other color developer in advance. CONSTITUTION:Before the pattern transfer of the color developer which coincides with the spectroscopic reflecting characteristic of a carrying member which forms a resistration pattern, the multiple transfer of the color spreading transfer by the color developer having the different characteristic from the spectroscopic reflecting characteristic and the pattern transfer of the color developer which coincides with the spectroscopic reflecting characteristic of the carrying member is controlled by a transfer control means 27a. Then, the pattern of the color developer which coincides with the spectroscopic reflecting characteristic of the carrying member is multiply transferred on the color spreading transfer area by the color developer having the different characteristic. |
