PURPOSE:To improve color forming sensitivity and to enhance humidity resistance and heat resistance by using a specific compound represented by general formula 1 as an auxiliary component. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording layer consisting of a leuco dye, a developer, an auxiliary component represented by formula (wherein X is a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a dialkylamino group and R is CH3 or CH2-CH=CH2) and a binder is formed on a support. If necessary, auxiliary additives, for example, a filler, a surfactant or the like can be together used. |
