<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter of a fuel-cell power conversion unit which causes a large high current to flow in a printed circuit board without adopting a bus bar. <P>SOLUTION: The power converter includes: a board terminal connected to a fuel cell 20; a converter 22 which has a full bridge configuration and is connected to the fuel cell 20 through the board terminal; an inverter 26 for implementing power control using a commercial frequency to a DC power generated by a rectifier smoothing circuit 25 connected to a secondary-side output of a high-frequency transformer 24, which is connected to the output of the converter 22; and a control circuit for controlling the converter 22 and the inverter 26. By employing a copper foil pattern with a thickness exceeding 70 μm for a large current circuit unit of a printed circuit board, power conversion of the fuel cell is performed while heat generation at the pattern is suppressed even if the large current is caused to flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
