INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent work on the physical distribution base side from being influenced by the operating state of a host computer and to shorten a queuing time by filing and processing a data transmitting/receiving part between a host computer and a slave computer. CONSTITUTION:A shipping data reception managing means 2 in the slave computer checks the existence of a shipping data file to be transmitted from a shipping data transmission managing means 1 driven in the host computer to the means 2 itself. When the shipping data file 11 to be received exists, the means 2 receives the shipping data. When shipping data are stored in an unshipped data file 12, a data processing means 3 executes the extraction of data to be picked and picking work and outputs shipped data to a shipped data file 13. A shipped data transmission managing means 4 transmits the shipped data. A data reception managing means 5 in the host computer stores received data in a shipped data file 14.
