<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operation method of a fuel cell capable of suppressing the rapid rise of an electrode potential in the cathode of the fuel cell, preventing the degradation of the cathode, and giving an advantage to the long service-life of the fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: The concentration of an oxygen given to the cathode 10 of the fuel cell 1 is reduced lower on an initial operation than that given to the cathode 10 on a steady operation, so as to suppress the rise of the electrode potential in the cathode 10 of the fuel cell 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
