PURPOSE:To confirm the presence of the illuminator even in the case of daytime installation thereof, by necessarily lighting the illuminator when the power source is for the first time applied after installation of the illuminator. CONSTITUTION:The rising of a power source is detected by a power source rise detection circuit 63 of a judging section 6. During a fixed time period set by a timer 61, the illumination apparatus is forcedly turned on by operation of a signal processing section 64. Further, during a specified time period set by a timer 62 after lapse of the first-mentioned fixed time period, a human body detection signal is given a priority over an illumination intensity detection signal. Thus, by operating the judging section 6 by the human body detection signal from a human body detecting section 4, the illumination apparatus is on-controlled so that, even when the apparatus is installed in the daytime, this apparatus may be confirmed. |
