PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a product price of a coating while improving chemical and mechanical properties of the coating, by incorporating a zeolite powder into a synthetic resin coating which contains a synthetic resin as a film-forming ingredient. SOLUTION: A zeolite powder preferably having a particle diameter of 0.1 to 50μm is incorporated into a synthetic resin coating which is a water-soluble resin coating or an emulsion coating for example, a vinyl chloride-, a silicone-, a fluoro-, a phenol-, an alkyd-, an aminoalkyd-, an acryl, an unsaturated polyester-, an epoxy-, or a urethane-resin water-soluble or emulsion coating. When the zeolite powder is incorporated into an organic solvent-based synthetic resin coating, it is preferably used after drying, for example, by heating, in order to be free from a problem such as generation of bubbles in a film. Optionally, a metal oxide powder, such as a silica powder or an alumina powder, is also incorporated.
