摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and accurately obtain an overall ratio of heat absorption from the initial stage to various kinds of furnace types and operational conditions by beforehand obtaining plural overall ratios of heat abosrptions within changing range of a variating item in the actual operation by heat transfer analysis and predicting the overall ratio of heat absorption from a regression equation using the variating item as a variable in the actual operation. SOLUTION: The overall ratio of heat absorption is beforehand surely obtd. in off-line by numerical calculation estimating the whole operational condition range in an arbitrary furnace shape. Then, in the actual operation, the operational condition is applied in the regression equation to calculate the overall ratio of heat absorption. Since it is enough to execute this calculation, the complicate calculation is unnecessary and the calculation can quickly be executed. As the suitable calculating equation, at the time of using Ti for charging temp. of a steel slab, To for extracting temp. of the steel slab, P for producing quantity, ti for staying time of the steel slab in the furnace, T for furnace temp. in each zone and L for dimensionless position in the furnace longitudinal direction of the zone to calculate the overall ratio of heat absorption, the overall ratio of heat absorptionΦCG is desirable to be obtained by the equation. Wherein, (a) to (g) are the constant values in each zone obtd. from the regression calculation.
