PURPOSE:To obtain an envelope transmission system whose transmission efficiency is satisfactory and in which data on an auxiliary channel can be transmitted. CONSTITUTION:An S-bit assembly circuit 3 assembles a pattern string for multi- frame synchronism generated in a multi-frame pattern generation circuit 2, state information of a main channel and data on the auxiliary channel as the S-bits of multi-frame constitution in which n-number of S-bits of (n)-envelope is set to be one unit. An envelope assembly circuit 4 assembles an envelope signal from the S-bits, a frame bit generated in a frame pattern generation circuit 1 and data on the main channel. An envelope analysis circuit 6 analyzes the envelope signal into data on the main channel and the S-bits based on envelope synchronous information from the envelope synchronous circuit 5. An S-bit analysis circuit 8 analyzes the S-bits into state information on the main channel and data on the auxiliary channel based on multi-frame synchronous information from a multi-frame synchronous circuit 7. |
