PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To encode a voice into easy-to-edit format and to facilitate variation in pitch and tempo and a simultaneous musical performance with other musical instruments by converting a voice into a physical signal, performing a specific process, and outputting the pitches of a fundamental wave and respective higher harmonics, their levels, and deviations from the pitches in time series. SOLUTION: The digital input/output device equipped with a computer main body 1, etc., converts the voice into the physical signal and stores it. The stored physical signal is converged to a frequency with a certain time window to determine the frequencies of the fundamental wave and respective higher harmonics. The frequencies of the fundamental wave and respective higher harmonics are converted into the pitch of a temperament scale and the deviation from the pitch, and the pitches and levels of the fundamental wave and higher harmonics and the deviations from the pitches are stored in time series. The deviations from the pitches are assigned to digital sound sources by channels and the pitches and levels of the fundamental wave and higher harmonics and the deviations from the pitches are outputted in the stored time series. |
